Cast (in order of appearance): Color Printer, Cashier

Transcript

Color Printer: So that'll be one E-mail with a side order of paper. {double-clicks on Color Printer e-mail} Would you like a reply with that?

Dear Color Printer,

Seeing as how you're some kinda
printer, do you ever need an ink change?

~Hagurumon

Color Printer: {reads e-mail, has trouble pronouncing name} Yeah, I'm pretty sure other people have been wondering this, too. {clicks on reply, starts typing} Well, {pause} The H, I do need ink changes every once in a while. In fact, the only way I can talk is by using ink. {starts losing voice, getting quiet} So you see, if I were to run out of ink, I couldn't {stops talking and just types} talk. Gasp! OH no! I RAN OUT OF INK! I can't talk! I can only communicate by typing! How will I live without my voice?!? {clears screen of everything after "I couldn't talk.", starts typing again} Which has not happened to me...yet. Now, if you'll excuse me...{pause}...I have to...go...to...the...computer store...for no reason in particular. {gets up, runs off screen}

{cut to the Computer Store. Color Printer walks in. He looks around and spots a directory. Cut to the directory}

Aisle 1 - Mice and Keyboards
Aisle 2 - Monitors
Aisle 3 - CPUs
Aisle 4 - Printer and Printer Equipment
Aisle 5 - Speakers and other spare computer parts
Aisle 6 - Computer Games and Software

{Color Printer points at Aisle 4 on the directory. Cut to aisle 4. Color Printer finds some ink and takes it off the shelf. Cut to the cash register}

Cashier: {scans item} That'll be $3.45. Will you be paying by cash or credit?

Color Printer: {long pause, takes out wallet, gets some cash out}

Cashier: So that'll be cash. {'takes money, puts in cash regsiter, gets some change out} And 55 cents is your change. {gives change to CP}

{Cut to the computer room. Color Printer sits down}

Color Printer: {starts typing but not talking yet} Well, there you go. Yes, I do need ink changes. And it gets on my nerve sometimes. Like, one time, I had to communicate with the cashier, and it was...never mind. That's a story for another day. And now, I will drink this nice cup of printer ink. {drinks cup of printer ink, starts talking, but not typing} Ah, that's better.

{The Paper comes down)

  • This was okay. Nothing really much to say about it. It did enforce the idea that my character is a printer, however.
