Addressing the state of the community

Now that times are returning to old and we're getting back to business by some miracle, perhaps we can work to at least bring a close-knit community back to this place. As far as I've seen, we haven't gotten any stupid people on here so we can probably manage, and some of us(I think all of us) have mod powers so we can finagle a few things.

I wanted to purge this place but it seemed dumb. I would love to work on new things now that I'm not a bumbling fucking idiot, and I assume some of you would too. I don't know where the other regulars that were trying to get back on once in a blue moon went but hopefully they all clock back.

Oh wow, that's just like me as well! There were a few people who I considered, until I realized that they wouldn't really give much of a shit about this community, so I didn't bother. Rose Lalonde and Kanaya Maryam, two extraordinary detectives also madly in love with each other are called upon by their boss, "J. Whedon" to investigate a shady organization, known as the "United Association of Despair", headed by the illusive "Ramona Day", the beautiful female chairman of the organization.

They find that the organization is a front for a team of legendary assassins who fight among each other to the death for the prize of ultimate fame and fortune and the chance to join Ms. Day as the leaders of the organization, who also have other ulterior motives at hand. Although many people have tried, the only one who has succeeded in rising to the top is a young otaku male from Canada known as "Scotty Touchdown", a former guitar player turned assassin.

As Rose and Kanaya investigate more, they are spotted and are forced to join the organization on pain of death. Being confident in their own fighting skills, the two agree, while at the same time devising a plan to get out of there. While in the holding cells (which are like ordinary hotel rooms), the contestant assassins are advised to sabotage the competition as much as they can, while at the same time avoiding being caught on pain of "execution".

As they try to figure a way out before they're randomly selected by the counter machine, Rose and Kanaya realize that everyone in the holding cells are just like them. Prisoners who also got captured against their will. Several figures such as Naminé Kirigiri, and Byakuya Robotnik, among many others. As tensions rise, the people in the holding cells turn against each other, including Rose and Kanaya, as Kanaya believes that Rose is cheating on her with Naminé. More and more minor characters in the holding cells are sent to battle and are either slaughtered mercilessly or taken to the next level.

After the suicide of Equius Oogami, trying to protect the life of her best friend, Nepeta Asahina, they realize the manipulation that is going on, and they all decide to find a way out of there. After making up, everyone manages to burst out of the holding cells and make their way to the main office of Ramona Day.

As they think the coast is clear, they are confronted by Scotty Touchdown", along with his own specialized group of assassins, the "Seven-X-Psychos". A group fight scene happens, as the survivors are pitted against Scotty and the seven best assassins. Just as hope seems lost, the "Lost Assassin", Dr. Horrible appears and confronts Scotty directly, having a personal vendetta against him due to the fact that he sabotaged his chances to get with Ramona Day. As Dr. Horrible mercilessly pummels Scotty Touchdown, the other elite assassins are finally taken down by the group of survivors, leaving both Dr. Horrible and Scotty Touchdown left, in a brawl of emotions.

Their brawl is quickly stopped by the interference of Ramona Day, who tells them how pathetic they are for giving into their emotions before quickly dispatching them both with her own weapon. Looking upon the carnage, she looks at the survivors and congratulates them on the great job that they have done, offering them all places in her organization. As they all decline, she realizes that it really is the end for her, and instead of letting herself die by the hand of her enemies, impales herself on her laser katana in order to die by her own hand and force the entire game into a sick and twisted draw. Her last words are: "It's too late. Look outside, for the despair has finally begun."

As the group of survivors make their way outside, they find that through some horrible and twisted means, the world has been taken over by Despair, with the entire populace falling into anarchy and chaos. Thinking that hope is lost, they all go together to confront this cruel reality. But a shining glimmer of hope appears in the form of "Katawa Hearts", the symbol of all that is good and hopeful in the world. Rose and Kanaya join hands as they lead the survivors (now a resistance group against the forces of despair) towards Katawa Hearts, hoping to finally liberate the world of "Despair".
