THEDENZEL: Email. A-checka. Email a-checka.

Dear the Denzel,
What are you, some kinda duck?
Crossed with a lion?
I-hope-we're-still-friends-fully yours,
--Homestar tiger

THEDENZEL: {Typing} What do you mean Homestar Tiger? Of course we're still friends! Anyway, on with the question. I'm not really sure what I am Tiger. I've just always been this way. Althought I'm highly sure that I'm not a duck or a lion, I guess it's kind or hard to tell with me. So let's start with the basics.

{Scene changes. TheDenzel stands in front of a projector screen with a pointer. The lights go out and light appears on the screen. An image of TheDenzel in black and white appears.}

THEDENZEL: Okay. First off, let's look at my body. It looks humanoid. I mean I have normal legs and arms. Although my torso is somewhat mishapen. But that might just be a shirt. {whispers} I'm not really sure. I've never really taken it off.

{The image changes to only TheDenzel's head.}

THEDENZEL: And then there's my head. Believe it or not but that yellow color is my skin, not fur or feathers. {When he says fur the images changes to him with his face covered in fur. When he says feathers, the image is his head covered in feathers. It returns to normal when he starts talking again.} Just my skin. And I've often questioned my own mouth. It's kind of like an irregular triangle. And my eyes are kinda big and close together. And now we get to the hair. I know it doesn't look like it but my hair is really hair, even though it looks like part of my head. And it moves like hair. Here, watch this.

{The lights come back on for a minute. TheDenzel shakes his head violently, and his hair shakes along with him. When he stops shaking, his hair returns to normal. The lights go off.}

THEDENZEL: See? My hair acts like hair, and you really don't wanna see it in the morning! But seriously, let's go outside and see what else we can find! {Walks off}

{Scene changes to the stick. Homestar is standing there. TheDenzel walks in}

HOMESTAR: {Talking to himself} And I was so like hey! And he was all like-

THEDENZEL: Talking to yourself again, Homestar?

HOMESTAR: Oh hey, TheDenzel! What's up?

THEDENZEL: Oh, I'm just answering an email for Homestar Tiger. I have some questions for you though.

HOMESTAR: Lay it on me, duck man!

THEDENZEL: Um... I'm not a duck...

HOMESTAR: Well, you sure look like one...

THEDENZEL: Do you even know what a duck looks like?

HOMESTAR: Well... Um... I used to wear one-

THEDENZEL: Anyway. As for my question, what are you?

HOMESTAR: What am I? Well what are you?

THEDENZEL: I already answered that. Now what are you?

HOMESTAR: I think I am a... something like a... um... I don't know...

THEDENZEL: You don't even know what you are? That's lame.

HOMESTAR: Well, you don't know what you are either!

THEDENZEL: Point taken. See ya later, Homestar! {walks off}

{Back at computer. TheDenzel sits down}

THEDENZEL: {typing} So there you have it, Tiger no one knows what they are and everyone's okay with it. Except for you. What you are is pretty obvious. Just like a Homestar... and a tiger... It makes sense. But what is a Homestar? Hmmm...
