The twenty-second and second to last chapter begins with a majestic procession through the town. Hester is appalled at the fact of how the Puritan customs are being shown, with such splendor and solemnity. Hester, however, to a more positive aspect, notices Dimmesdale in a more healthy and energetic condition. Pearl, similarly to how she didn’t recognize Hester in Chapter 19, barely recognizes Dimmesdale in his well physical state. Mistress Hibbins then arrives and states that the Black Man’s mark will be shown on Dimmesdale soon; suggesting Pearl is a child of the Devil himself. However, the narrator states that Mistress Hibbins will be executed soon. I am personally in favor of this because I find her a complete nuisance to Hester and Pearl. Execute the damn bitch!

About how I've been for a while

I just wanted to say this as soon as you got back. I realize why you've been unhappy with me for the past couple of weeks. When you snapped at me during the start of your laptop punishment, I thought it was just all the anger and you didn't mean anything you were saying to me. Then you became unhappy with me again and because of that, I thought you were just going through another bad situation. I went overboard with that thought and I paid with my mod powers. Of course, you probably know I never deserved them in the first place. I understand that I've been overreacting about a lot of things now, because, even though I'm afraid to admit it, I'm at the prime of adolescence, and the thought of going through puberty hurts, so I want to cherish my childhood, and I did it by acting like I did a year ago.
