Though there are not many, Zarel Emails has a few running jokes.

| Dismemberment | Probably the biggest one in Zarel Emails; Zarel will sometimes lose or mention the loss of his body parts. Zarel's body parts are detachable without harm and can be reattached. As of arrest, Fang also experiences this. |

| Homestar in a truck | There are times where Homestar will be driving a truck with a bed to dump things on people, mostly Zarel. |

| Cartoon Fight Clouds | As seen in classic toons, sometimes characters will make cartoony dust clouds to imply fighting. This has happened in Zarel Emails. | |
