Pter is...well...it's unclear what he is. He's a purple draconic anthropomorphic animal, though his name implies he's some sort of pterodactyl. Pter seems to lack an entire lower half, but makes up for it by being able to float, and for some reason, can operate a car without feet on the pedals, as evidenced in his 2012 debut; worst present. Pter is generally calm and somewhat shy, although caffeine will cause him to go nuts and at times (similar to Strong Sad), spout current events and remarks about the government. Like Foxx, Fang, and Zarel; Pter is a revamped version of an old character.
Pter when "sober" is almost like the straight man to Zarel's obliviousness. He tries to convince him to do something productive on the day he had no emails, though it's implied he had to smack Zarel out of his house. Also, while Pter is calm and quiet, he seems to be quick to anger and threaten.
A common gag in Zarel Emails and affiliated media is that Pter is often forgotten. He's introduced as a "new character" in Zarel Emails: The Returnening despite having been in the show, and in sports he is tossed like a football after stating he's "ready to be an actual normal character now." Zarel has also forgotten that he never had legs to begin with.
Pter also has a stuffed animal that he doesn't take out into public usually and is a little overprotective of it. It appears to be an orange spotted cat-like creature similar in appearance to The Cheat. He calls it "Lil' Steffie" and says it's his "flavorite." However, it seems to only have appeared in his (old) character video.
