The WUW's height during the purge was simply due to boredom and/or a desire to keep the creative juices flowing. Now that there's no hope that the HRFWiki will come back, most of the original users have found little reason for staying here. And there's obviously nothing to direct unique traffic to the site, so the shrinking of the community and its production was inevitable. I hate to be cynical, but I personally doubt this place will survive another two years on the internet in the direction it's going.
