Ok, I admit it, Wikihood Redux was horrible.

NOXIGAR: Honesstly, it wasn't horrible. At least not compared to myriad other things in 2008 which deserve to be riffed with a lot more tenacity.

It had bad writing, massive plot holes, out-of-place arguments and was pretty much a mess.

NOXIGAR: Actually, the only thing it had was out-of-place arguments, and that was early on. You exaggerate the writing, which while average was still passable. Plot holes, if any, weren't massive or otherwise were the result of out-of-place arguments.

I was particularly to blame for that. So I've come up with an idea; what if we followed the same basic plot that Wikihood Redux had, but remake it so we didn't include all the flaws and such? We could actually create something good.

NOXIGAR: Honestly I wish I was around for that remake. It basically refined a majority of what made Wikihood good.

Guidelines

NOTE:The entire rules list is pending, only to be approved by Sephiroth, whereas he may alter and add any rules he pleases.

NOXIGAR: See? You're actually pretty good at laying down the rules.

<!--fyi i got his permission to be the second hand behind this project and he said he will also give it to a certain few others-->

  1. No Godmodding. Some Mary Sueness is allowed, but keep it to a limit. Any long-term behaviour in this kind of fashion may result in your losing membership.
  2. Inexperienced users may be put on a trial membership(And we have a hefty amount of them.)
  3. You are expected to edit some episodes, but you don't have to be a soldier ready at the helm editing every episode to preserve the American way of life.
  4. In cooperation with the rule 3, one who fails to edit within 6 episodes of their last edit will be reminded, any gaps between 12 or more episodes without edits, will knock the user(s) out of the list and they will be given a worthy leaving unless or until you decide to return or you leave for some short period of time, we may be able to make arrangements.
NOXIGAR: I'm pretty sure most of those rules are similar to ones which were from Wikihood III, last I recalled. And I was gone for most of that time too.
  1. Users who have been users less than 3 months , or have written FG breaking fanstuff(we'll check the history so you can't hide your severe no-no's) have a one-in-5 chance to be asked from refraining edits until they have proven worth, or may be given a trial membership from which they can never edit again when and if it expires unless they can prove themselves within said period and make their writing consistent.
  2. You are expected to follow the plot. Being random and non-canon may end with your edits removed, the exception going to the Non-Canon Cannon, in which Chwoka will lay down his hammer and may or may not give you rules in that(because we totally expect one of those in this version)
  3. It is preferred if you sign up as your main user character first(i.e me signing up with Chaos, and THEN deciding if I want to add a few), and then add in OCs, but it isn't a requirement. New characters should probably come beforehand with a warning, and some background information may or may not be nice.
  4. Unoriginality: Please keep it to a minimum. The occasional reference or cameo is okay, but don't go overboard.
NOXIGAR: I think only the whole "less than 3 months" thing was heavy-handed due to there already being a rule on inexperienced users.

NOTE: If you were in the old Wikihood Redux, or wanted to be in it, this is your chance to join up.

NOXIGAR: This sign-up sheet was okay.

Chaos' Handy Dandy "you have a very good chance of being ill-suited for this series!" Key/legend

* - Mary Sue, or a character that doesn't seem well-suited. Fair chance of a trial or removal.

~ - Characters may be in need of rectifying, otherwise you seem fine, may be on a light period of watch, no absolute big threats.

Episodes

Season 1

  • The Caves of Time - During an expedition in the legendary caves of time, something goes terribly wrong, and our newly introduced heroes must fight to survive.
  • LIVE FREE OR DIE SOFTLY - The team are searching in an abandoned Military Facility in search for a piece of information, however, they are not alone.
NOXIGAR: It's too bad this only lasted two episodes at the time.

Misc

NOXIGAR: I wish there was a more interactive menu. An Options button and a Soundtrack boombox would be neat options in the foreseeable future, especially for a visual novel version of Wikihood or Bell Quest or whatever.
NOXIGAR: And yes, I still expect to be defeated in Katawa Bell Quest Team Racing Gaiden Legaia X6, Lex. I'm not exactly going to be harsh on these old Wikihoods since for the most part they were good in an unambiguous sense except early on when out-of-place arguments were more commonplace.
