Charlton "Charlie" Conrad Barnes is your average guy. He works a 9-to-5 job at an advertising firm and lives an average life. That was until The Accident. Nobody's sure what happened in The Accident, but Charlie went into a coma for a decade. While there, he apparently adventured in Dreamworld, a land of madness and insanity. When he awoke, he had a shiny new messiah complex and an optimistic 'tude to boot. Charlie belives that the world is going to descend into the Dreamworld soon, and if he doesn't prevent what's happening on Elemania, well...it may be sooner than we think.
Charlie is committed to doing the right thing for the world, and his high moral code can soemtimes be a bit annoying. Add that to his messiah complex and you might just want to punch him in the face.
Charlie has some psychic powers, but they aren't all-that powerful. Right now all he can do is make things move with his mind. Since his mind isn't strong enough, he can't pick up massive things, but being around Elemen amplifies his ability for some reason. He prefers to use peaceful negotiations on all evil he sees. Whether this works or not has yet to be seen.
