Behold, The insane breeding ground of the insane genius Kirbychu! The machines don't do anything (they aren't platforms, this excludes the purple ones next to the pit), a spike pops up out of the gray thing next to the rightmost machine, you can jump through the two lower floating platforms and the fence-like areas, and you can only stand on the platform in the middle of the pit when it reads "on". You can also climb the ropes on the right platform.
