What purge?
The purge of the Homestar Runner Fanstuff Wiki.
September 1st, 2008, at 7:00 PM, the Homestar Runner Fanstuff Wiki was completely eliminated. Deleted. Nuked. Wiped out of all fanstuff that didn't get on the "glorious gravy boat."
Only a selected 100 or so fanstuff made it, some migrated, some were wiped out completely.
Now the purge was promised to happen in the early summer, but did it? No. Some fanstuff had a few more months to live. That is, until a confirmed date was given.
Who did this? A user named Its dot com, the head honcho of the HRFWiki did this. And he promised a new wiki to come "soon."
If Clamburger was in the server, typing "!purge" on IRC would give you a heads up on the progress of the purge itself. In later days, doing so would give how long this has gone on. Clamburger would give you the time that the HRFWiki has been gone.
So I go to the channel, and type:
!purge
Clamburger said it has been about 106 days.
106 days.
Sometimes, I look back on the day I joined, October 8th, 2006, and how well I was greeted. I look back on how well Arumail had gone on, and look at how it is now, surpassing the 100 email mark.
Sometimes I think...
IDC wanted this to happen all along. He wanted the HRFWiki gone.
He will not bring it back.
I may be wrong, but I believe that this will never end. It'll be 200 days, 300 days, and still no HRFWiki.
Will it ever end?
