I'd like to revisit and slightly revise her backstory
namely the terminology we use and the impression we give that we're in a fairly modern timeframe - calling Jacques a Ranger is easy because it has secondary definitions and connotations, but it just seems out of place to be using such traditionalist fantasy terminology for no reason, especially considering they were probably more of some sort of tactical squad as opposed to a group of adventurers They call me Big T BLOOD 09:50, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- Okay. That doesn't sound like a bad idea. I'm a little lacking in tactical squad terms, though. Noxigar 12:34, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- We'll think something up. I just feel a little disillusioned when I read about clerics and paladins. I mean, having a cajun necromancer worked because voodoo and Louisiana totally go hand in hand, but this feels out of place. They call me Big T BLOOD 12:37, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, I gotcha. No worries, clerics and paladins probably translate to something military. Noxigar 12:40, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- Well actually, I'm not too buzzed about it. From how I see it, the whole order they were part of, I imagine it being one of those incredibly traditionalist ones that span hundreds of years. It could just be that they developed all this stuff during the medieval era, and just happen to keep the titles for the sake of tradition? Lex 17:11, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
- Also, we should still revise the backstory to prevent conflict, considering how I basically dug up Jacques and tore him apart into a completely different creation now, ha ha ha. Lex 17:16, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
