:::::::Well, Rosenberg henpecked at D'Arque a bit during his debut, but I don't really think that D'Arque has mentioned Rosie that much at all. As for the rationale in the beginning, I honestly don't think that we did, beyond the whole "crusty old men going at each other" thing. {{User:Sephiroth/sig}} 20:09, 27 August 2013 (UTC) | :::::::Well, Rosenberg henpecked at D'Arque a bit during his debut, but I don't really think that D'Arque has mentioned Rosie that much at all. okay although melon is a butt i have to admit that an episode about d'arque and droll as the main characters wouldn't be that bad of an idea Lex 23:40, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
- YAY MELON SAVED THE DAY Noxigar 23:42, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
- we should probably show the circumstances of the aftermath of episode 7 though, what with them dealing with the manor being blown up and their cash effectively stolen from them Lex 23:44, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
actually
I think THIS episode should focus on Rosenberg and Stephanie because D'Arque has stolen the spotlight for half of the season so it's only fair that we give them a turn They call me Big T BLOOD 06:55, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- While I do agree with you on some part on the fact that those two deserve more focus, I still think a D'Arque/Droll solo episode would be a good idea because even though they have had a good amount of the spotlight, it's only in regards to the main characters and their story. I think having an episode and a mini-story dedicated to these two going solo without any interference with the main cast or plot would be a good idea so we can give these characters more independence, other than being just devices to move the main plot forward. Okay, that's technically what they're there for, but still. Lex 08:18, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- The only problem is that a filler about the two would be difficult to write and require precise care and direction. They call me Big T BLOOD 09:04, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- Huh, well I can see where you're coming from, I guess. We'll talk things over later to see if we can get a better plot idea then. Or try and roll with this still, either way is fine with me. Lex 09:16, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
- Precise care and direction are Wikihood's middle names! But yeah, I think Rosie and Steph could use more screentime. Noxigar 15:41, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

The situation and how to parallel it
D'Arque and Droll are now homeless, theoretically jobless, and lost out to Rosenberg, who still sits high upon his perch. We should probably more closely follow and develop why the two hate each other beyond the fact that they live right next to each other and are both as old as canned dirt. D'Arque might have unrequited control of Townindale, but he needs to devise a plan that he knows can't fail with limited resources as it is. Personally I kind of want to throw in some kind of moment in which Droll and Stephanie have some interaction, because when you stack the two characters up against each other they're actually fairly similar - they both love their job, they both have as much political power as they do actual power, etc. and it could be worth showing off. They call me Big T BLOOD 21:21, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- Oh yeah, I actually do want to tackle all that. As for the homeless and jobless part, I always imagined that the two resided in the theatre anyhow, and that the manor was just another relic of D'Arque's past. But nah, I get where you're coming from. I actually do want to develop the hatred between the two and explain it, but I don't want to take the easy way out and do it by flashbacks because that is some cliche stuff, yo. As for interaction between Droll and Stephanie, I actually would like that too, due to the parallels and such, yeah. For some reason, despite their opposite sides, I always imagined the two actually being quite amiable with each other in person. Lex 21:30, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- Why don't you guys DO THAT I mean my Wild Wrench nature is often to help you guys and yet I wonder why I did most of the editing for Eps. 7 & 8 until the near end. :/ Noxigar 02:56, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

I'm finding it hard to absorb any information proper with what we've already done, so I think we might need to dial this back and take baby steps to approach the situation. I'm alright with the opening, being that it's a recap from a different perspective, and the lead in to the actual plot development is good, but at 10k KB I would have already expected Rosenberg and Stephanie to have gotten off the ground, but they aren't even in it yet. I just think it'd be easier to establish the overarching plot points and development we want by integrating the other half of the conflict into it now, as opposed to waiting for one half to finish and then head to the other side of the fence. - Yeah, I agree actually. I've been getting the same feeling, and that's why I'm quite wary with going further with it myself. I've established certain parts of the story, but I don't like how I approached them either. Lex 19:55, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- Did we ever establish why the two hate each other outside of this episode? That probably would have been a good idea. Not that your idea that you've used isn't bad, but I thought we specifically had a rationale behind this that we already developed but we may have forgotten about. considering this episode's status as a filler episode (somewhat)
i was kinda hoping that the others wouldn't show up in this one
not to mention that this takes place after episode 7/around the same time as episode 8, so having them in that circumstance wouldn't actually make sense considering the times and stuff
sorry bro Lex 05:58, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
