All right, I was able to establish the main setting of the whole thing. Give me tomorrow, and I'll write the basic story. Until then however, I would appreciate it if you told me what you think of what I've written so far. Is there anything that you believe should be changed, or anything that should be added? Feel free to do so, and I'll be happy to address your concerns.

You see, I actually want to create a proper background for this series. A proper "lore", if you will. You might notice that I've taken inspiration from a variety of sources, mostly Star Trek, but I'm also trying to include elements from things such as Cowboy Bebop, Star Wars, and Blade Runner, in order to establish our own theme which happens to be creative but familiar. And by all that, I'm trying to sugar-coat the fact that it's all stolen. :V Lex 22:38, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

Are we allowed to change/add characters? Lucian SummersThe Heir has awoken. Your shit is wrecked. 00:19, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Oh yes, of course. Go ahead. :) Lex 00:25, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Yeah I actually didn't expect anybody to take my updated cast list at face value Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 01:00, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
I'm not really, I'm just using it as a template of sorts. I'm probably going to end up removing some of the characters that represent old users anyway, such as "CC". And I might introduce a few characters who actually have normal human names. NOT EVERYONE IS AN ALIEN OR A ROBOT OKAY Lex 01:04, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
What is a "kawaii repair-man", exactly? Kirbychu 01:03, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

Well, since Lex is looking for more human characters, I would be fine with replacing K-Bot with a human or humanoid character. Especially if it meant not being a "kawaii repairman" Kirbychu 01:12, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
let the records show that this cast list was not made with any sort of real human consideration in mind Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 01:15, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

About Beastkin

I kinda took the concept from BlazBlue, but you can read about them here.

If I decide to keep him, Ry-X will be referred to as a "fox beastkin." Lucian SummersThe Heir has awoken. Your shit is wrecked. 05:27, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

Our mantra:

"Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery — celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from — it’s where you take them to.”" - Jim Jarmusch

By that, what I'm trying to convey is that if any of you have any ideas for this, go for it. Even if the ideas happen to be completely stolen. Even if it's a small concept or something else, if it inspires you and you think you can turn it into something great, just go wild and make it your own thing. Lex 22:44, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

I figure that the only real way to know is to test it all out. Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 04:47, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
