Biography

Zippy Parker Platypus, best known as Zippy, is the main character of his self-titled series, Zippy Emails. The most popular out of all the main characters, Zippy started out checking emails on the scourge of the internet Homestar Runner Fanstuff Wiki. There, he checked email like he does now, but with more forced Homestar Runner cameos. Eventually, he decided to move out and go to some other town named Anytown, USA.

Zippy was born to Zed and Zena Platypus. Shortly after being born, he was kicked out of the house, much to his mother's dismay. From here, Zippy roamed the world and eventually found a place to stay. It is implied that he hates his father for this, and wishes revenge on him. Later on, Zippy met up with his parents at a family reunion, where he found that his mother and father divorced. Zippy now hates him even more, supposedly.

Zippy moved to Anytown, USA, in his late twenties. Apparently, his friends did, too, as they also showed up. Later, a new character, Sydney, moved in, making her the first female character and the first pink platypus to appear on the show. Since then, not much has happened.

Zippy seems to be best friends with Kooky, seeing that Kooky actually likes being around Zippy. Zippy likes to think that Mitch is a friend of his, which he can be, but Mitch doesn't quite appreciate him most of the time. However, there was a time when Mitch was actually friends with Zippy. Syd doesn't seem to have a stance on Zippy's friendship.

Zippy used to have a pet jellyfish, as evidenced in pets, when he had a flashback. His jellyfish was apparently used by Kooky in an experiment, and ran off, lasers a-blazing. Later on, he bought a new pet--a lobster named Sticky, for some reason.

Zippy does have a bit of a drinking problem--in the early emails, it seemed like he was drinking very aggressively. It is implied, however, he is recovering. Zippy apparently drank to "wipe away the memories"--presumably of his old email show.

Zippy rules over his own country as the self-titled "Presidemperor". His assistant is his very own lobster, Sticky. Among the biggest attractions of Ziplandia are Zippy's house, a lake house/shack, and a hammer in a field. Zippy insists that it is a country, though it would be better described as an autonomous enclave. So far, Ziplandia is only allies with Oralina, though it is a tenuous relationship.

ZIPPY: ...so I've got that going for me. Which is nice! I'm friends with Kooky and Mitch, and we have some pretty funny times. Watch my email show, all! Alright... gotta find a way to end this real cool-like. I know!

{Zippy does a backflip. He lands on his feet, which make a crackling sound. He falls over in pain.}

ZIPPY: YEOWCH! I think I broke something!
