Mayor Meyer Meier is Townindale's Mayor and has been for the last 80 years. Born during a time when cars were boxier and horses with carriages still filled the streets, Meyer Meier has a very old world mentality. Elected at the ripe age of 16 due to a lack of laws which prevented him to do so, Meier has become one with his political position. Unmarried and without children, his one true love is his job. Despite his passion for municipal politics, Mayor Meier has fallen behind the times in his old age, and at this point, the role of governing Townindale has fallen to his staff.

Mayor Meier also has close relations with Xavier D'Arque. It is very clear to anybody observant that at this point he has been taken in by D'Arque's "coerciveness" and that he is essentially just a puppet.
