ExDeath in short, can be described in one way and one way only. He's a tree. Or more specifically, he used to be a tree in the great forest, but due to certain circumstances, that tree mutated and grew a mind of it's own. He once tried to take over the world by thrusting it into darkness, but this failed due to the fact that he was stopped, and seemingly destroyed by a gang of teenagers. However, he survived that ordeal and fell into deep embarrassment, (mostly due to the fact that he's a tree) and repressed all memories of the past, only knowing of the fact that he once tried doing something major but failed at it. He is now known for being a harmless contributer to society, working in the local supermarket as the manager. He now spends his weekends in the "Criminally Insane and Clinically Depressed has-been Video Game Villains", in order to receive treatment for his trauma. He stays in the same room as Spiral Pegacion from Mega Man X5, and Garland from Final Fantasy I. After Spiral broke out of the Asylum, ExDeath got permission for him and Garland to leave.

Personality

When he first appeared in FFV, he was known for being cold and ruthless, but due to years of psychiatric treatment, he's revealed himself to be a nice and overall likable guy, making friends with almost everyone he meets. However, traces of his old personality can surface sometimes, usually when he's angry and annoyed. Of course, being the nice guy he is, he usually apologizes straight away.
