Rexx is a humanoid alien with a lifespan of 250 years on average. Landing on the planet Earth in his youth on the turn of the 20th century, Rexx spent the majority of his life blending in with the populace by wearing human clothing, using pheromones to trick people into thinking he was also a human, despite resembling a lizard more than anything else. Despite his otherworldly origins, Rexx's lack of connection to his home culture makes him more connected to Earth than anything else. Living a life as a human for over 100 years, Rexx has gone through the decades, adapting to pop culture and fashion, and becoming the groovy Dinosaur Alien in Disguise you see today.
Theodore Diamandis, also known as "Khaos", was born on 1987, in Greece to members of an ancient society known for their practice of dark magic. Spending most of his life at an off-the-grid compound in the country side, Theodore was raised along with several other children born into the society to hone and master their abilities. Despite the practice of Dark Magic, the society was not one of ill intention. Quite the contrary, in fact. They believed in using their powers for good and to help people. Something that's easier said than done, as the practice of Dark Magic had been immensely frowned upon for the longest time in history. Theodore's father was a strict mentor to his son, pushing his body and mind to its very limits. Tired of the training that he saw as abuse, Theodore fled the compound on the eve of his sixteenth birthday, cutting off all ties with the society and his family along with it. On his own, he spent the next few years hitchhiking around Europe, using his abilities for entertainment, basically becoming a travelling magician for money. Eventually he gathered enough money to move to the United States, where he found himself in Midway City, even being able to get employment as a bouncer at a nightclub. Staying in a cheap apartment, everything seemed nice and steady for Theodore, until he was tracked down by his old society members, who wished to forcibly re-induct him back into the society, believing that as the heir, it was his duty to carry on the legacy. Despite his attempts to fight them off, it turned out that he was outmatched, and that all hope seemed lost by him. It was only after being saved by a strange looking patron of the nightclub where he was able to flee from his persuers. While thanking his savior, he noticed that he wasn't at all an ordinary human, but... a dinosaur. Introducing himself as Rexx, the man explained that he was an alien vagabond who spent the majority of his life as a nomad, travelling and mixing in with other humans. Inspired by his story, Theodore asked if he could join, also wanting to live that life. Rexx said sure. Somehow they ended up living in a mansion in Townindale though. Not bad really.
