• DESCRIPTION: Nobu is a fairly tall humanoid, measuring in at a little bit over six feet tall, not counting added height from his getas. He's very well toned, for an old guy—though he does have a bit of a gut from drinking so much beer. His skin is a deep, speckled red, and his hair is scraggly and white with the texture of down (like you'd find on a baby chick!). His sideburns are black and feel rougher, like short human hair. Nobu has a rather plushy mustache and a small patch of scraggly beard under his bottom lip. Nobu's face is extremely wrinkled, seeing as he's been alive for so long. His eyes are sunken into his face, and the piercing yellow of his scleras provide an eerie contrast to the darker skin that surrounds them. Nobu has a long nose that points outward; its end is squared off, somewhat unnaturally. Nobu, like all mountain goblins, has a pair of small wings—functionally useless, since tengu weigh as much as humans do.
• BIOGRAPHY: Yamauchi Nobu was born atop a mountain to a family of Tengu. There wasn't anything notable about his childhood; he was trained in martial arts, sure, but tengu are brought up to do that from the day they start walking. Nobu spent many of his younger years training, drinking, and loving the ladies, and many of his older years fathering his son Katashi with his loving wife Wakana.
• POWERS:
  • COMBAT NOSE: Nobu's most distinct power is the ability to extend and retract his sizable schnoz. This can be done at fast enough speed to cause injury to any would-be attackers. If you're wondering if it hurts Nobu, the answer is "slightly"; years of training have hardened Nobu's nose into the formidable weapon it is, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have nerves running through it still. At maximum, Nobu's nose can reach a length of 10 feet.
  • AGILITY: For an old man, Nobu is surprisingly agile. This doesn't mean he's as fast as the wind, nor does it mean he's got the jumping prowess of a spider monkey; Nobu's just kinda quick and you really wouldn't expect that out of a geezer.
