Nyjole is an Elemen; one of the locals from Elemania, in fact. He has long, wavy ears and wears a red headband. His voice is high-pitched and he stumbles on words occasionally, but it's nothing close to incoherent.
Originally, Nyjole resided in the Meadow Plains region. But when Xagros came, he's been sort of a traveler, not strongly connected to any town. He knows some parts of the island very well, but some places were too dangerous to explore on his own. He's witnessed a lot of destruction, and is more than ready to do something about it all.
Nyjole has always been a competitive person, and will make a contest out of just about anything. He doesn't tire easily. He's also pretty impulsive. When he's asked to do something, he'll likely agree, and he won't admit defeat easily. He's a bit stubborn that way.
Since he's an Elemen, Nyjole has a fairly decent capability in hand-to-hand combat as well as element-based magic. He's skilled in fire and electricity, but can't really do squat with other elements. Weapons can be difficult to learn. Nyjole is also a quick healer; injuries won't be a problem for too long.
One unique ability available to Nyjole is called "Blast Jump". He jumps, then causes the air under him to undergo combustion. This burst of energy can send him soaring great distances, perfect for handling difficult terrain.
