Homestar as Dynamite Headdy

Dynamite Headdy is a platformer video game developed by Treasure. It was released in 1994 by Sega for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis, Sega Game Gear and Sega Master System. Headdy, the central protagonist of the game, arrives in North Town to find that the evil puppet King Dark Demon is in the midst of attacking the puppet town to select which of the peaceful toys should live and which should be converted into his evil minions. Headdy is captured and rejected by D.D.'s forces, and is dropped into the dust cargo to be thrown into the incinerator. However, Headdy escapes the clutches of Dark Demon's minions and sets off to defeat the evil king.

Strong Bad as Pennywise the Dancing Clown from "It"

It (also referred to as Stephen King's IT) is a 1990 miniseries based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. The story revolves around an inter-dimensional predatory life-form that is referred to as "pennywise", which has the ability to transform itself into its prey's worst fears allowing it to exploit the fears and phobias of its victims, while also disguising itself when hunting. "pennywise" mostly takes the form of a sadistic, wisecracking clown called "Pennywise the Dancing Clown", The charactors in the mini series refer to the demon as pennywise as it mostly comes in the form of "pennywise the dancing clown."

Zarel as Axl Low from "Guilty Gear"

Guilty Gear is a series of sprite-based competitive fighting games by Arc System Works and designed by artist Daisuke Ishiwatari. It is popular with fans for its detailed anime-style graphics, original characters, hard rock/heavy metal soundtrack, unique gameplay, and its numerous references to rock and heavy metal music. Axl Low is a time traveller. He comes from the 20th century, over one hundred and fifty years before most of the Guilty Gear storyline. His main goal is to return to his own time period, mainly because of his desire to return to his girlfriend, Megumi. For this reason, he seeks out various means, and is continually attempting to solve his time slipping mystery. He seems to know Sol Badguy as Frederick from the 20th century.

Homeschool Winner as Bernard Bernoulli from "Day of the Tentacle"

Day of the Tentacle, also known as Maniac Mansion II: Day of the Tentacle, is a 1993 graphic adventure game developed and published by LucasArts. It is the sequel to the 1987 game Maniac Mansion. The game's plot follows Bernard Bernoulli and his friends Hoagie and Laverne as they attempt to stop the evil Purple Tentacle—a sentient, disembodied tentacle—from taking over the world. The player takes control of the three and solves puzzles while using time travel to explore different periods of history.

The Cheat as Lotso Huggin Bear from "Toy Story 3"

Toy Story 3 is a 2010 American 3D computer-animated comedy-adventure film, and the third installment in the Toy Story series. Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear (Lotso) for short, voiced by Ned Beatty is a plush, pink teddy bear with a big plum nose, a sweet strawberry scent and a southern accent, who uses a wooden toy mallet as a cane and is the leader of the toys at the Sunnyside Daycare Center. He initially acts like a kind-hearted and wise caretaker, but is later revealed to be more of a ruthless warden, although his backstory makes him more of a tragic villain.

Coach Z as Waka Flocka Flame

Juaquin Malphurs (born May 31, 1986), better known by his stage name Waka Flocka Flame, is an American rapper signed to 1017 Brick Squad and Warner Bros. He is a Southern hip hop artist best known for his singles "O Let's Do It", "Hard in da Paint" & "No Hands", along with his debut album, Flockaveli. Waka Flocka Flame has announced that his second album, Triple F Life: Friends, Fans and Family, will be released during the spring of 2012.

Bubs as The Irresponsible Dad from "Happy Wheels"

Happy Wheels is a ragdoll physics-based, browser racing Flash game created by Jim Bonacci. The game features 9 playable characters who use small, often absurd vehicles to traverse the game's levels. The game has been available on Total Jerkface since June 2010, but demo versions are also available on other websites. About 200-300 thousand play the game each day and over 6,000 user levels are submitted a day. rresponsible Dad is a moustached man, portrayed as a father in his mid-to-late 30's, who rides a bicycle with his young son in a child's seat in back. His son is left without any protective gear, hence the father's name, although the father himself does sport a helmet. Irresponsible Dad also shares a unique ability with the Moped Couple that allows the father and son to be launched off the bike independently of one another. If the child dies while the father remains alive, he will shout "Damn it" in a considerably calm tone.

Homsar as Derpy from "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic"

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated television series that premiered on October 10, 2010, on the United States cable network The Hub. Hasbro Studios and DHX Media's animation studio in Vancouver (formerly known as Studio B Productions) produce the series, which is based on Hasbro, Inc's My Little Pony line of toys and animated works. Derpy Hooves is the fan-given name of a gray Pegasus pony given by the show's internet following due to her having a cross-eyed "derpy" expression in the first episode. The name has since been adopted by the crew and Hasbro. Starting with Feeling Pinkie Keen, the show's crew began giving the pony crossed eyes intentionally, as a nod to the fans. The character is addressed by Rainbow Dash in The Last Roundup as Derpy, where she speaks for the first time. The scene was later altered so Rainbow Dash no longer names Derpy, and her voice was changed due to controversy, but the character still remains cross-eyed in the show.

The King of Town as Professor Pickle from "Sonic Unleashed"

Sonic Unleashed (known as Sonic World Adventure in Japan), is a video game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for multiple platforms in 2008. The game follows Sonic the Hedgehog as he attempts to restore the world to normal after his nemesis, Doctor Eggman, splits the world into pieces, as well as his struggles with his new beast form, Sonic the Werehog. Professor Pickle is a well-known professor at Shamar (formerly Spagonia).

The Poopsmith as Deathwing from "World of Warcraft: Cataclysm"

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm is the third expansion pack for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, following the second expansion Wrath of the Lich King. It was officially announced at BlizzCon on August 21, 2009, although dataminers and researchers discovered details before it was officially announced by Blizzard. The expansion was officially released on December 7, 2010. The central plot of the expansion is the return of the evil dragon aspect Deathwing the Destroyer (originally Neltharion the Earth Warder). Last seen in Warcraft II, which took place over a decade before, Deathwing has spent that time healing himself, and plotting his fiery return from the elemental plane of Deepholm.

Strong Sad as Jackie Estacado from "The Darkness"

The Darkness is a series of ongoing American comic books created by Marc Silvestri, Garth Ennis, and David Wohl and produced by Top Cow Productions. The comic first appeared in 1996 and enjoyed an initial period of relative success during the Top Cow/Image Comics boom of the late 1990s. However, Top Cow was forced to re-launch the comic in 2002 after sales began to drop. The Darkness has sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Jackie Estacado, a former hitman for the Franchetti Family mob lives life on the wrong side of the law and can kill without remorse, although he has a strict set of morals and a fierce loyalty to those that earn it. Yet the only thing keeping him from being purely evil is his true love Jenny as well as his love for his daughter Hope and others.

Marzipan as the Robed Figure from "Journey"

Journey is a video game developed by Thatgamecompany exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and which is distributed on the PlayStation Network. The game features the player as a robed figure in a vast desert, journeying towards a mountain in the distance. Along the way the player can meet other players on the same journey; the two players can assist each other, but cannot communicate via speech or text and are not shown each others' names until after completion. The game was released on March 7, 2012 for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and was fully released on March 13. It has been met with significant critical acclaim. Journey is the last game made under a three game contract between Thatgamecompany and Sony, the first two being Flow and Flower.

To Strong Bad's notice, Journey was released in 2012 before Night of the Living Rejected, but after 2011, which this toon took place. This is because the toon was all in Homestar's imagination.

Strong Mad as Karl the Giant from "Big Fish"

Big Fish is a 2003 American fantasy adventure film based on the 1998 novel of the same name by Daniel Wallace. The film was directed by Tim Burton and stars Albert Finney, Ewan McGregor, Billy Crudup, Jessica Lange and Marion Cotillard. Other roles are performed by Helena Bonham Carter, Matthew McGrory, Danny DeVito, Deep Roy and Miley Cyrus among others. Finney plays Edward Bloom, a former traveling salesman from the Southern United States with a gift for storytelling, now confined to his deathbed. Bloom's estranged son, a journalist played by Crudup, attempts to mend their relationship as his dying father relates tall tales of his eventful life as a young adult, played by Ewan McGregor. Karl the Giant is played by Matthew McGrory.

Pom Pom as Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw

Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw (born 24 May 1983, Warwickshire, England) is the British-born author of adventure games created using Adventure Game Studio software. He also writes articles for Australia's Hyper magazine, a major games publication. He uses his website "Fully Ramblomatic" as an outlet for his own work, including weekly dark humour articles, essays, the novels Articulate Jim: The Search for Something and Fog Juice, and webcomics including Yahtzee Takes On The World and his most recent, Chris & Trilby. He is currently making a series of video-reviews named Zero Punctuation for The Escapist. In February 2008 issue of PC Gamer (US), Croshaw took over Gary Whitta's "Backspace" column as a contributing editor.

Foxx as Magneto from the "X-Men" series

Magneto (born Max Eisenhardt) was a German Jew in Auschwitz Concentration Camp, his experiences there were the basis of his action in the decades to follow. He was a friend of Charles Xavier (around that time he discovered his mutant magnetism power) who would later become the founder of the X-Men, but parted ways due to their ideologies being too different. Some time later he formed the Brotherhood of Mutants as a mutant supremacy group which came into conflict with the X-Men a number of times, but has sometimes fought alongside them against a greater threat. Magneto is, as his name of choice implies, truly a master of magnetism. He can control all forms of magnetism, both artificial and natural.

Pter as the Attack Carrier Pilot from "Star Fox 64"

The Attack Carrier Pilot is a green lizard serving as a commander in Andross's Venomian Army that pilots the Attack Carrier, hence the name. He, along with the Granga pilot, led the invasion of Corneria during the Lylat Wars. He is first seen when Star Fox comes to save Corneria, and after they defeat Granga when Falco shows Fox where the Attack Carrier is. He taunts the team, not realizing who they are, as he battle's them. Star Fox ultimately beat him, as he demands who they are, then screams they will never defeat Andross, before he is killed in the explosion of his ship.

The Rejected Characters

Tom and Lyle as Jack Spicer and Wuya (respectively) from "Xiaolin Showdown"

Jack Spicer

Jack Spicer, voiced by Danny Cooksey, is a self-proclaimed Evil Boy Genius and the primary antagonist of the show. He is a super-villain though he often exhibits signs of genius with his robots and expertise in mechanics. Jack has pale skin, red hair and red eyes. He can create Artificial Intelligence and several effective weapons, and seems to be at his happiest tinkering with things in his Robotics lab (in his parents' basement). Jack wants the Shen Gong Wu only for power and intends to use them to take over the world. As a reflection on his personality, his favorite Shen Gong Wu, as of the end of Season 3, is the Monkey Staff, which is one of the only two Shen Gong Wu that the Xiaolin warriors do not have (the other being the Wings of Tinabi). In "The Apprentice", it is revealed in a Xiaolin Showdown that Jack Spicer seeks world domination because he feels small and worthless, and fears failing at good just as he has failed at evil. His hero is Chase Young. He once trapped Chase to get his power.

Wuya

An ancient Heylin witch voiced by Susan Silo, Wuya was trapped in a Chinese puzzle box by Grand Master Dashi. She was then released from her puzzle box prison by Jack Spicer, whom she needs to complete her work for her, though she thinks he is useless to her for messing up so many times. Wuya served as the main villainess of season 1. Wuya can be returned to her physical form by using a combination of the Serpent's Tail and Reversing Mirror, which has been used on her twice (once by Raimundo, and once by Chase Young). Her physical form is youthful, beautiful, powerful, and usually barefoot. Her first revival allowed her to transform the world on a large scale without the use of any Shen Gong Wu, and made her largely invulnerable to their power, but her second revival, while still superhuman, was not nearly as strong. For the first season, except for the last episode, she is in her ghost form. Then after having her physical form destroyed by Raimundo, she is a ghost for the second season then is restored for the third season and remains tangible. During the series she worked with Jack, then Katnappe, then Jack again, until she paired with Mala Mala Jong, after that she paired with Raimundo, then Katnappe, then Jack again, then Raksha, then Jack, then Chase Young, and with Hannibal Roy Bean to get rid of Chase Young, and with the villains in the last episode.

Aruseus as Katnip from "Herman and Katnip"

Herman and Katnip are a duo of cartoon characters (Herman the mouse and Katnip the cat). From 1944 to September 1950, Herman appeared without Katnip, who made his first appearance in November 1949 with Mice Meeting You. The two characters continued to star in animated cartoons by Famous Studios until 1959. Their cartoon series, which was distributed by Paramount Pictures, together is essentially a clone of MGM's Tom and Jerry. The key difference is that, regardless of who personified good or evil (with Katnip being the latter on almost all occasions), Herman always came out on top against Katnip, while Tom won his fair share of comic battles against Jerry. However, Katnip rarely had trouble forcing Herman to pay in some manner for his victories. Arnold Stang voiced Herman while Sid Raymond voiced Katnip.

The Hurricane as Captain EO

Captain EO is a 3-D science fiction film starring Michael Jackson and directed by Francis Ford Coppola (who came up with the name "Captain EO" from the Greek, cf. "Eos", the Greek goddess of dawn) that was shown at Disney theme parks from 1986 through the 1990s. The attraction returned to the Disney Parks in 2010, as a tribute after Jackson's death. The film tells the story of Captain EO (Michael Jackson) and the ragtag crew of his spaceship on a mission to deliver a gift to "The Supreme Leader", who lives on a world of rotting, twisted metal and steaming vents.

Champeen as "The Mona Lisa"

The Mona Lisa (La Gioconda or La Joconde, or Portrait of Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco del Giocondo) is a half-length portrait of a woman by the Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci, which has been acclaimed as "the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world."

The Unguraits as "Minions" from "Despicable Me"

Despicable Me is a 2010 American computer-animated 3D comedy film from Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment that was released on July 9, 2010 in the United States. The film stars the voice of Steve Carell as Gru, a super-villain who adopts three girls (the voices of Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, and Elsie Fisher) from an orphanage; and the voice of Jason Segel as Vector, a rival of Gru who steals the Great Pyramid of Giza. When Gru learns of Vector's heist, he plans an even greater heist to shrink and steal the Earth's moon. It is the first CGI feature produced by Universal, in association with its Illumination Entertainment division. It was entirely animated in the French studio Mac Guff in Paris, France. This is Illumination Entertainment's first feature film.

Preshy and Rafferdy as Pugsley and Wednesday Addams

The Addams Family is a group of fictional characters created by American cartoonist Charles Addams. As named by Charles Addams, the Addams Family characters include Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama, Wednesday, Pugsley, and Thing. Gomez and Morticia had two children, a son called Pugsley and a daughter called Wednesday. Wednesday was said to have been named after the phrase, "Wednesday's child is full of woe," from the poem "Monday's Child". Her middle name, Friday, corresponds to the 1887 version of the poem. In the television show she was a sweet-natured, innocent, happy child, largely concerned with her fearsome pet spiders. A favorite toy was her Marie Antoinette doll, which Pugsley had guillotined. The movies gave Wednesday a much more serious and mature personality with a deadpan wit and a morbid fascination with trying to physically harm, or possibly murder, her brother (she was seen strapping him into an electric chair, for example, and preparing to pull the switch); she was apparently often successful, but Pugsley never died. Like most members of the family, he seemed to be inhumanly resilient.

Dijjery-Doo as Scrat from "Ice Age"

Ice Age is a series of animated films produced by Blue Sky Studios, a division of 20th Century Fox, and featuring the voices of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, and Chris Wedge. Three films have been released in the series thus far, Ice Age in 2002, Ice Age: The Meltdown in 2006, and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs in 2009. The series follows a group of mammals surviving the Paleolithic ice age. Scrat is a saber-toothed squirrel who is obsessed with acorns, constantly putting his life in danger to obtain and defend them. He has his own stories in the film, independent of the main plot, which are parallel with the journeys of the other main characters, causing them to interact with him at times.
