How was ComicCon?

Don't get me started.

It was AMAZING. There weren't much costumes, but most of them were pretty well made. I need to bring a camera next time I go to a convention.

So Cutgirl (Julia) and I (TJ) spent most of the time in the showroom. It wasn't just the two of us, though, since this was a club field trip. I was Ryu, Julia was a generic anime schoolgirl. So, we get to the showroom and stuff, we saw things, spent money, got free crap, and other stuff. They had gaming areas, and I made a Spore Zarel. We also got a hand at some UNRELEASED TITLES. Julia and I played Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, another fighting game. Ironically, it had Ryu in it, and also MegaMan Trigger (MML Megaman) and CLASSIC Roll who attacked with a broom and stuff. I picked Ryu and MegaMan, she was Morgan from DarkStalkers (another Capcom title) and Roll. I got my ass fried. Julia wiped the floor with me. After that defeat, we found Bomberman Ultra on the PS3. It's a nice game, kinda like the DS one, and you can customize a Bomberman and use it. I also got a good laugh that they had Bomberman powerup easy-tatoos for free. Now I can imprint a Dangerous Bomb, Pass-Thru Bomb, Full Fire, or Bomb Punch image on my arm.

So next we decided to buy stuff. Julia and I came across a plushie stand (oh lord) and Julia nabbed a Toon Link plushie. I found an assortment of Animal Crossing characters, and searching for any wolf character, resident of my town, or Jay (well he counts as a resident), I managed to find Whitney. I also saw some Kirby plushes, some of which were Kirby's abilities. There was normal Kirby, Cook Kirby, Wing Kirby, Hammer Kirby, Mirror Kirby, Wing Kirby, and I think that was it. My friend Erin got a white Yoshi, and my friend Megan got a Toon Link as well. I also scored a "Megaman Rules!" shirt. And even after searching the ENTIRE building, I found a Shadow the Hedgehog hat.

So then it was time to check out the booths. I only went in one, Haruhi Suzumiya, and got a look at the first two episodes. Good anime, it's your kind, Bell.

And I even got pictures with other costumed people. A few people recognized my outfit, either shouting "HADOKEN" or referring to me as Ryu. Someone even asked me if I was getting Street Fighter 4.

I also got a photo shot with Julia at a "Photo wall." I think I'm going to be on the website's gallery.
