Dictionary.com says that "guffaw" means to laugh, and that's exactly what this thing is. A laugh. There's not much else known about Guffaw except that it has never closed it's mouth or opened its eyes before in life. He's been proven to have computer-like skills, which probably was from the result of his role in Space-Aged Stupidity.
