CHAPTER 1: THE EXCITEMENT

I was happy, once.

I was so excited. I was going to be in Smash Brothers! I, Sonic the Hedgehog, a fan favorite, a Brawl character!

I walked up to the front desk. "I'm Sonic! I'm a character!" I shouted excitedly. "Great," said the lady. "Stand with the other guys." I stood beside a man in overalls, a mustache, and a green shirt. "Hey!" I said. "You're Luigi!" He was silent. "Hello?" Still silent. He seemed to be brooding. "Okay," I said. "I'll leave you alone." Suddenly a huge iron box fell on us, opening down! We were trapped!
