Chapter 2 - A Night of Debauchery

After school we went over to my house. I gave a quick “hi mom” (and so did Kerry and George) and we went straight down to the basement.

Really, my room.

I pulled out the brick behind the TV and pulled out a small tobacco pipe. But that was bad for you.

George pulled his hands out of his hoodie pocket and he was holding a little bag of some ground up green plant. Marijuana.

Kerry-san dropped down into the couch and experienced the comfort while George and I took the first few puffs of his primo weed.

“Who did you steal this from?” I asked.

“Hardy.” he said.

“Hardy wants to take me to the daaaaa-aaaance” Kerry said in a singing voice.

“You should not do it. He is such a loser.” I told her. Hardy kind of sucked. All he wanted to talk about was baseball. Effing baseball. Nobody cares!

“Who're you going to the dance with George?” I asked George.

“Haha, maybe you!” He joked back, winking constantly.

“Seriously, stop hogging that.” Kerry demanded as she grabbed the pipe from my hands. The green smoke rose from her mouth, above her fedora, and through the open basement window.

As the high felt in, I began to feel a little thirsty. Smoke can do that to your throat. I reach into my pillow and pull out a bottle of sweet sweet Southern Comfort. I poured myself a drink. How comforting it would be.

“How is it you always seem to have a bottle of alcohol just sitting around at all times?” George asked.

“I get it from a 21-year old,” I answered.

“Who?” They both asked.

“Me!” I answered.

They both understood. They knew my secret. And now they knew how I got my drinks. All I have to do is just apply time travel to my own body. I simply aged myself til I was 21 and then liquor stores wouldn't even be able to tell. When my shopping was over, I just un-age myself.

As we smoked and drank Southern Comfort, we discussed everyone who we wish we could just smite.

“You know, I always could just go back in time and make sure they were never born. Or maybe even moved away!” I told them.

But we all agreed that we could never do something so drastic again. After last November, we had swore on a contract never to abuse my power in such a way.

As I lay down I lay my eye upon that contract, waving hello from above the television.
