Vega Prime is the largest celestial body in the Vega XII star system, evident by the fact that all 100 Vegan Slums orbit the planet. To live on Vega Prime, you must be a pureblooded Vegan. To afford to live on the planet, you must be a crown monarch or the like, or be enlisted in the military forces. The planet itself is a thick swampy jungle covered in quagmires and mangroves, but the Vegans live in large bipedal constructs with houses crafted onto them, or in large floating city-like archipelagos. Those of either insubordinate status or lack of income often find themselves in Slum 99. Vega Prime has a large number of potentially lethal animals and is often considered inhospitable, but there are those who brave the surface of the planet, especially Vegan game hunters. There is rumored to be a tribe of Vegans who live on the surface of the planet, but these are mostly rumors.
