Bio

K-Bot is a human-based android member of the Leviathan X crew, where he acts as head mechanic. He also is often a member of the landing party during missions. Despite being an android, he outwardly appears to be human. He was designed as a maintenance-bot, so he lacks any internal weapon systems. However, he is an excellent mechanic, and is capable of memorizing and storing more information than any human can. He also has waterproof, shock resistant "skin", making him somewhat more resilient than an average human.

Personality-wise, K-Bot is a generally friendly, kind person. As he was built as a personal assistant-type android, he is specifically programmed to be incapable of being rude to others, going so far as to call everyone he meets sir or madame. However, his emotional programming is capable of overpowering this rule, leading him to sometimes act snide and sarcastic. As he is fairly new to human-like emotions, he is often either very overwhelmed or very underwhelmed by new experiences. As he was initially built to do nothing but cleaning and repair jobs, he is very timid when it comes to combat situations.

Past Life

K-Bot was originally constructed as one of a large number of similar maintenance androids. His name originated from him being "Model K" of the maintenance-bot line. He began his life as a simple, mindless work robot, with no form of free thought or personality.

K-Bot was purchased by a starship mechanic to act as his personal assistant. In attempt to make him into a more reliable worker, hos owner created a rudimentary personality core for him, giving him his limited range of emotions. He was later recruited for the position of head mechanic of the Leviathan by Jaxx, as he felt a sentient android who was already trained as a starship mechanic would be best suited for the job.
