A murder has taken place in an alley behind a small diner. A young woman was shot 3 times in the chest. Her purse is gone, and her clothes torn a bit. She was in a small black zipper-dress, which begun at her knees. The police are a bit puzzled with the case. A silver GT-500 pulls up to the crime scene. A man in a grey long coat steps out of the car, and heads towards the crime scene. An officer stops him.

OFFICER: Sir, you can't be here.

The man adjusts his jacket, and looks up at the officer

???: I don't think you know who I am.

OFFICER: Try me.

??? My name...is Raiku Samiyaza.

OFFICER: Uh....

RAIKU: The consultant?

The officer looks at a note that was left to him.

OFFICER: Ah yes, Mr. Semiza.

RAIKU: Samiyaza.

OFFICER: Um...

RAIKU: It's Yiddish.

The officer looks around.

OFFICER: Alright...well, the chief is right over, Mr...Samyaza.

RAIKU: Close enough.

Raiku proceeds to walk over to the chief, who is talking to two officers. The chief notices him, and sends the officers away.

CHIEF: Ah, Mr. Sammadamayamaza.

RAIKU: Why does no one ever get that right?

The chief laughs.

CHIEF: So...what do you think about the case?

Raiku proceeds to get close to the body and examine.

RAIKU: Well....from my examinations...

CHIEF: Yes?

RAIKU: She's dead.

The chief begins to get a bit angry.

CHIEF: Look, we accepted you as a consultant, so you better help us somehow, or I'll arrest you for wasting our time.

Raiku smiles.

RAIKU: Trust me, I was just making a joke. I can do this...

Raiku grabs a pair of gloves from his bag, and puts them on. He goes up to the body to examine it.

RAIKU: Hmm... Three shots.

CHIEF: Yes, we know that. Is that all?

RAIKU: Nope. From what I can tell....she knew the killer.

The chief raises his eyebrow.

RAIKU: If you look closely at the ground, you can see where they were standing.

The chief looks around.

CHIEF: I don't see anything.

RAIKU: You're not looking close enough. Anyways, from the indentations, they were standing here a while. Then, the victim begun to turn, perhaps to leave, but the killer shot her first.

CHIEF: Look, wild accusations won't be any help t-

The chief notices Raiku isn't listening, as Raiku begins to walk away.

CHIEF: What the hell are you doing?

RAIKU: Tracking the killer's movements.

Raiku continues walking, until he enters the diner.

RAIKU: From what I can tell, by boot imprints, the killer entered the diner...and hasn't left.

Raiku begins walking, until he enters the employee's room, where there is a small cot.

RAIKU: And here is the killer.

Raiku points towards the owner of the diner, who is sitting on the cot.

OWNER: What the hell are you talking about?

CHIEF: My apologies sir, my consultant apparently believes you are the killer.

The chief looks towards Raiku.

CHIEF: Look, I told you to be helpful, not make accusations. It appears you're being no he-

The chief notices that Raiku has turned towards a book, War and Peace.

CHIEF: What the hell are you doing now?

RAIKU: Finding the murder weapon.

Raiku opens the book. Sure enough, the gun falls out of a hollow part of it.

CHIEF: The hell...is that?

RAIKU: Revolver. Three rounds are missing...

At this point, the owner pushes past the chief, and begins running for the entrance. However, he is stopped by the two officers from earlier.

OFFICER: Sir, you are under arrest for the murder of that woman.

The officer proceeds to read him his Miranda rights, and they take him away. The chief thanks Raiku, and Raiku proceeds to leave in his car.
