FYI, Counter-Strike is a VALVe game. And no, Team Fortress is really nothing like it. The Mu 17:56, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

According to my brother and friend, valve didn't make it. And the original was. FloppyDongHersh Bensfloppydong.png
According to Wikipedia, your brother is full of it. The Mu 17:58, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Also I highly question whether you are basing your opinions on first-hand experiences. If you've ever played Team Fortress Classic (a bit of a light-hearted game with set classes), you might find it was a lot different than Counter-Strike (a gritty, realistic shooter with buyable weapons). The Mu 18:06, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Half-Life and Doom are similar only in the fact that they are both first-person shooters (and are different in about every other way imaginable), Team Fortress 1/2 is not the same as Counter-Strike in the slightest and of course Portal is based on Narbacular Drop: probably because they hired the team that made it. Also, Left 4 Dead draws more inspiration from Dawn of the Dead than I Am Legend and this is really not relevant anyway since you go from comparing games to comparing a game and a book/movie/whatever. Left 4 Dead is also better than every other zombie-killing game by a factor of a million.
In conclusion, "more facts plz". - Super Sam 19:32, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

I agree with the fact it's the best zombie game ever, and it's my second best game of all time. But, I don't like to relish in facts, I prefer to go straight for things. I do believe Doom and half-life are similar in gameplay, rather than plot, and also Valve do make the games I talk about better, my brother also wants to say "Valve, did not 'create' counter strike per-sa, counter strike was originally a third party modification for half-life. However, valve saw the potential in this modification and I think after the first few betas, valve took over, or at least aided in development (They also bought the rights to the game). Sorry for any anguish this caused, I blame my brothers lack of articulation." FloppyDongHersh Bensfloppydong.png
You just said that you don't like to use facts in your reviews. — ChwokaTalk
