She occasionally fights Garfield; while these fights lead to various defeats, her ambition is such that she continues to try again with later encounters. During their second fight, she reveals she has befriended some of the same inhabitants as Garfield presumptively knows, connecting her world to his indirectly.
Eventually, she forms a strong bond with her quarry, forged entirely by these fights.
