Simple, no? Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 04:50, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

I agree. Real easy. Noxigar 04:55, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Townindale

Surely the town has its own mayor, right? You have anything in mind for him, Chaos? Lex 21:17, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

Well of course there's a mayor, but I don't have any reliable ideas, so let's just go through the criteria list and shoot the ideas one at a time until we've fleshed out a new character. Then we can use him a little. Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 01:44, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
Alrighty. Because I have a plan not for the mayor himself, but for a potential secretary of his. Lex 08:21, 9 November 2011 (UTC)

In terms of geography

I thought it would be neat if Listless (And in extension, Townindale)had an incredibly ambiguous position on the world map. Just like how Springfield is in the Simpsons, I think it would be fun if we just.. totally shook things up, making the existence of Listless completely impossible in real life.

For example, it's ambiguous geographical location makes it so that all the major cities in America are only a few hours away when it comes to driving. Like, a journey from Listless to New York City wouldn't take much time at all, same with all the other major cities, like Seattle, Las Angeles, Miami, and Houston.

It's also a short drive away from Hawaii and Alaska, despite the geographical impossibilities of that too. And of course, the entire state borders both Canada and Mexico too.

Every single geographical terrain in America exists in this state too, from hot deserts, to foresty areas, to the coldest tundras, hell, on the coast, it has properties of the tropical Hawaiian islands.

I don't know, what do you think?

Lex 18:49, 12 August 2013 (UTC)

I mean, I was kind of already operating under that assumption, but we have yet to explore the world outside of Listless, is all. Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 00:21, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
Ah. So I was basically just saying what everyone else (by everyone else i mean you because right now you basically are everyone else at this point ahaha) was saying, then. That's totally cool. Lex 05:31, 13 August 2013 (UTC)
Can we keep Mr. Bones' Wild Ride for the next Wikihood Manor extension? Noxigar 01:31, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
I'm not sure what we would do with it... Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 01:32, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
Have it be part of the Manor's exterior and pimp it so Mr. Bones' Wild Ride would have wheels, allowing the Wikihood Manor to have significantly more mobility in case we needed to escape Townindale again. Noxigar 01:34, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
but... why would the manor need a boat sticking out of it Lex 01:36, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
Rule of Funny. And Cool. Noxigar 01:40, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
but then no one will be able to get off mr. bones' wild ride :( Lex 01:43, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
I didn't think of that. I thought of trying to make use of the pirate theme some characters had while also attributing it to backstory. Nobody needs to get off Mr. Bones' Wild Ride because the ride is actually kind of fun to write about. Noxigar 02:55, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Funny thing to think about

Is the fact that the whole Wikihood Universe has creatures such as elves, goblins and werewolves just walking about normally, and no one ever raises a fuss about it like it's weird or unnatural, basically regarding them all as common occurrences in ordinary life.

I was just thinking about that and realizing that it could all basically be explained by saying that the whole Wikihood Universe basically used to be like any other medieval fantasy back in the ancient ages. A fantasy universe where society and technology basically developed much like real society and technology did, and that the result is an almost-ordinary modern world, but with more fantasy influences and whatnot. Not to mention that with the occurrence of alien species and highly advanced robots, one could actually say that the Wikihood Universe is basically like a modern science fiction fantasy universe. Lex 00:27, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure we ever doubted that Wikihood was a fantasy science fiction series Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 01:36, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
this is the second time this month i've ended up stating the obvious and realizing that everyone knew that was the case Lex 01:37, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
It's okay Lex, just redirect this power to exploring what isn't actually obvious - like how Debonair D'Arque has consistently failed every one-off plan to get rid of a boarding house of college dropouts and has even been thwarted by them at least twice Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 01:40, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
jesus christ chaos you are one sassy fuck today Lex 02:03, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
I was serious I don't get it
I wrote this guy to be a total gary stu and it isn't working :smith: Artisan of TortureThey call me Big T BLOODArtisan of Torture 02:07, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
oh shit now i feel bad
i wrote rosenberg to be a total gary stu too, shit :smith:
provided though, he hasn't actually done much at all
like... he talked for one episode and had a segment in another episode i really think we need to establish the d'arque/rosenberg rivallry more because at the moment d'arque is just some broody skeleton and i don't actually know what the fuck rosenberg is doing Lex 02:19, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
Hm. Perhaps my Anti-Mary Sue powers are coming to fruition? Nah, maybe it's just 'cause it's a lot harder to make an intentional Mary Sue due to our vastly-improving writing skills. The narrative would have to be considerably borked in order to really have one of those. Think My Immortal, but if she took medicinal weed to fix her problems and it didn't work. WOOF WOOF

"The happy home where our story starts. Censuses from past tell us that the house is many many many years old, originally owned by a currently mysterious owner, who put it straight to market. However, as it went up on the market, he mysteriously disappeared, for no explainable reason."

we need to expand on this somehow one day Lex 05:53, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

Hm. I, too, have thought about giving hints as to the mysterious owner. Noxigar 05:59, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
