Description

  • HUNTER: Gendarmes are the hand at the end of the long arm of the law. Apprehension and retaliation is their specialty.
  • ACTIVE: Gendarmes have any number of tricks and tactics taught to them that allows them to better handle combat situations with utmost superiority. Gendarmes start with One Passive Ability and two Active Abilities.
  • SOLDIER: To be the best in law enforcement, the Gendarmes are trained under the school of martial discipline and equipped with the best of riot control gear.

  • WEAPON PROFICIENCIES: 6 - Gendarmes can choose a combination of 6 Melee or Ranged weapons to form their arsenal, allowing them to wield and level those weapons as well as granting them the Trick sets for each weapon.
  • ARMOR CLASS: MAIL, SHIELDS - Gendarmes can wear any set of armor up to Mail Armor, the second heaviest tier of armor available. Gendarmes can also use shields, granting them the shield Trick set.
  • RESOURCE: COURAGE - All Gendarme Abilities consume Courage upon activation. Gendarmes gain Courage with every successful attack they make. When out of combat, Courage degrades at a constant rate until returning to 0.

Starting Abilities

  • PASSIVE ABILITY: Police Brutality - Successive hits against enemy targets increase The Gendarme's defenses, up to a cap.
  • ACTIVE ABILITY: No Escape - The Gendarme uses their weapon to bind the target in place, rooting them for a few seconds.
  • ACTIVE ABILITY: Assault and Battery - The Gendarme charges in a straight line, stopping when they come into contact with an enemy and dealing physical damage to them. If the target is focused on another at the time, their focus is reassigned towards the Gendarme.
