Jan 17. 1978. We finally got the town of Husk up and running. Residents without anywhere else to go are beginning to arrive into this town.
Aug 4. 1978. Our mayor has teemed up with Jonquil to help keep your economies in check. We've set up a boating system between the areas to help with trade.
Feb 23. 1979. Bad news. Rare species of fish have been discovered in our boating route, and our system may be denied further funding if we can't clear these up.
Apr 12. 1979. Despite our efforts, more endangered sea creatures have moved into the area. We will now have to go through the two towns the long way.
Jul 3. 1979. To help us with our trade problem, some of our residents have decided to start a new township, turmeric farms. These residents are clearing paths through the two town to it. Trade may no longer be a problem.
Nov 29. 1979. After tough work and lots of building, the turmeric farms are up. Unfortunately, the town may have to be abandoned before it can be used.
Apr 2. 1980. Great news! Crops have been planted in the farms, along with many residents. The trade process has greatly sped up because of the town.
Apr 26. 1980. After a long wait, the waters seperating turmeric farms and Husk have been deemed to be clear of endangered sea life. We may use boating for trade again!
Sep 10. 1980. A disease is beginning to spread throughout the towns. Luckily, the trees growing between the towns seems to provide a cure for the disease, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Nov 1. 1980. Terrible news. The residents of Cherry beach have caught the disease as well. We told them the sap from the trees on their island supply the antidote. It's great luck that the same trees grow on each island.
Dec 14. 1980. We've gotten word that the residents of Cherry beach are dying after using the sap as an antidote. IT turns out the trees on the two islands are only identical. We have fallen under much contriversy for this.
Jan 17. 1981. We have been fooled! On the celebration of our towns anniversery, residents of Cherry island have come in and killed many residents for allegedly trying to poison them! I was lucky to escape with my life, let alone this journal.
Jan 19. 1981. This may be the last entry, as the natives are killing people who they claim are alerting others about this. We can see a bit of the battle on the other side of the island, and turmeric is certainly losing. I've sent a letter to Jonquil town, alerting them of the attacks.
The rest of the journal is empty. Small drawings show a town progressively getting larger, than being torn down. At the end of the journal is a drawing of the city as it is today, with the stands, and seven huts.
