Basic Info

Andre DuTempi is the patriarch of the DuTempi crime family, a crime syndicate which operates throughout Republic Island.

Andre's father, Franco DuTempi had the reputation of being one of the toughest gangsters in San Cristobal. Despite the sultry relationship he shared with Andre's mother, a witch of unknown name or origin, Franco despised magic in all of its forms and forbade its use within his family, along with banning membership of non-humans. When Andre began showing symptoms of magic at an early age, Franco attempted to steer his son away from a life of magic and crime by enrolling him at a boarding school, followed by dental school.

Despite Franco's attempts to guide his son on a better path, Andre DuTempi eventually took his place as the family leader after his death. It was under Andre's rule when the DuTempis were displaced by the Bonifacio crime family, a younger generation of mobsters who attracted more success and fame through their exploits.

Under the rule of the Bonifacios, the power and influence of the DuTempis declined. That is until Andre DuTempi struck a deal with newly elected District Attorney, Xavier D'Arque. In a matter of months, every member of the Bonifacios eventually found themselves behind bars. With the Bonifacios gone, the DuTempi Family found itself in a new renaissance.

Of course, such dirty dealings always have strings attached, and Xavier D'Arque is looking to cash his cheques...
