How long has this been here? Anyway, here are my thoughts.

Now, hands down, The Riddler is my favorite Batman villain. Which is why if they ever make a sequel, they should make the main villain... well... The Riddler! Antway, back on topic. I believe the Riddler would make a fantastic villain in the next movie for the following if they do the following things.

  • 1: If played right, he could be as insane as The Joker. Seriously! In all things he has appeared in, he was just a maniac goofball. But I believe this guy is actually an insane physcopath. For example, I always imagined that if he was in The Dark Knight, there would be a scene where Batman and Riddler fighting in a room which seemed like black nothingess. With question marks flying all over the room, the floor spinning, all that crap. And the whole battle The Riddler is laughing maniacly while using pourposley bad puns and jokes while actually managing to kick the crap out of poor Batman.
  • 2: Intelligence. Now, the Riddler's riddles weren't too complicated stuff. Just take the Adam West cartoon for example! THEY SERIOUSLY FOUND OUT HIS RIDDLES IN LITERALLY SECONDS. But, if he was in the sequel, that would be a different story all together. If theres ever a sequel, The Riddler's riddles would be so hard and vauge, Batman would have to run around trying to find them out enchaning the detective effect.
  • 3: Keep a little goofy, but don't overdo it. The goofy wacky Riddler was who everybody grew up with. Now I know I've been talking about these neat little changes to Riddler, but everybody loves goofy Riddler! But don't overdo it. That would take away the true serious...ness of Batman. For example, take Harley Quinn from the old Batman cartoon. They made her silly, wacky, goofy. But for some reason she seemed smart and dangerous at the same time. So if they tried to do that with the Riddler, well... that would be great.
  • 4: Backstory. Nuff' said.

  • 1 - Uh that kind of sounds like The Joker, not The Riddler. Making puns isn't his schtick I say
  • 2 - Intellect should be the theme of the next movie anyways
  • 3 - I don't think the goofy Riddler is necessary at all. Where the damnhell is my Zodiac killer
  • 4 - Eh he's never had that interesting a backstory, I just like to think he kind of went crazy over trying to crack the riddle of Batman's identity THENOID 00:53, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
