Ah, Hot Wheels. One of the best toy car companies in... let's just say whole America. And then it gets popular. So popular, that it gets a crap ton of video games?!?! Yep. Here, I'll review the best Hot Wheels game ever made: Hot Wheels Turbo Racing.

This game has been released for PS1 and N64, making this review a 2-part review. Here, I'll review the Playstation version.

Hot Wheels: Turbo Racing on PS1 is just awesome. That's all I have to say. Not really.

Graphics

The graphics are good. The screenshots at IGN may have proof.

Controls

The controls are very good. They are well-placed, and is awesome.

Sounds and Music

The sounds are also very good. They really fit in with what's going on. And the music? It's awesome. It's just awesome. And not just because it has a Metallica song in it (yes you heard me), it's because the songs are really catchy! I have a few on my mp3 player!

Extras

Most of the cars are ones from real life. And I do mean most. The cars "Rash 1", "Thunder Roller", and "Bi-Sector" are not ones from real life. There were cars named Rash 1 and Thunder Roller, but the ones in the game look completlely different. The "Hot Wheels Car" is Kyle Petty's NASCAR car which was sponsored by Hot Wheels.

The tracks are awesome. That's all.

There are championship cups: The Hot Wheels Cup, The Secret Cup, and The Twinmill cup. The Hot Wheels Cup is a championship in which you race through all of the tracks that are available at the start. The Secret Cup is where you race in all of the tracks you unlocked after completing the first cup. And The Twinmill Cup is where you battle two professional Twinmill and Twinmill II drivers in one race. Also, they go faster than normal for some reason... When you beat The Twinmill Cup, you get all of the mystery cars (assuming you didn't hunt for them before you did this). You also get a car you couldn't find in the courses, the Tow Jam. If you don't want to do all of that, you could just enter a code at the password screen.

Flaws

I don't really find any flaws in this game, really.

Conclusion

So in conclusion, if you like racing games, stunt games, and/or Hot Wheels cars, I highly, highly reccomend this game. The rating is 10/10. It is just flawless compared to the N64 version. It's rare, and if you find it in a pawn shop, get it if you want. This has been Patrick with Another Freaking Review Show, signing out for now.

This has been part 1 of this review. Stay tuned tommorow for part 2!
