Using a few asides typical of telethons, we cut back and forth revealing more of the conflict between D'Arque and Rosenberg while watching how the gang deals with the dash.

As for it ending.. hm, considering how the full conflict between Rosenberg and D'Arque hasn't really started yet, we could end the episode on a peaceful note, where status quo remains the same for all the characters. Basically bringing the animosity between everyone (except for D'Arque/Rosenberg and their backstory of course) back to how it was in episode one, allowing us to forget about them for a tiny bit and as you said, have a few episodes of filler to lighten the load of the plot somewhat, before kicking it into full gear for "act 2" of the story arc.

| − | Noxigar has been having dreams of Oceanna, a mysterious ally who has been visiting Noxigar's subconscious to aid him, in return for eventually helping her destroy an enemy common to him and her. Noxigar is skeptical to her advances and agenda, but she entrusts him with an oxygen tank and an inactive explosive, explaining that he will know when to use both. She mentions that she has several associates working with her in her field, and that they will meet in time. He is jolted awake by the house's narrator for interfering with his business, on the day of the Mad Dash.

Droll suggests they use the footage of the last week of constant surveillance of the crew as shocking and hilariously destitute footage to encourage people to donate to the cause. D'Arque explains that the point would be moot because he is simply going to run the crew into the ground with the Mad Dash, apparently a team triathalon taking place on land, sea, and air, to the highest point in Townindale; Mount Nottigen. In tiring them with the extensive race, laden with treachery from all sides as contestants are encouraged to interfere with eah other, he will then gather them at the finish line only to overwhelm them with the newly controlled forces, and then slay the Wikihood crew and pocket the money to fund the eventual conflict he will incite with Rosenberg.

Oiracul, Remolay, Fritz and Lang will be remaining at the homestead, Oiracul repairing Fritz and Lang after their apparent forced manipulation from Rosenberg, who's curious why he would have done such a thing. The rest of the household is pre-occupied with mocking the fact that Chaos seems absurdly unprepared for the race, knowing that it would lower, and potentially ruin, the chances that they get better funds raised to support the necessary fixtures and fees to get the house back.
