Plot

Setting

The year is currently 23XX. Mankind had made great progress over the past three hundred years. The entire galaxy had been made easily accessible through the discovery of hyperspace gates, which allowed for quick and safe travel between planets. Because of this revolutionary discovery, mankind adapted, and they spread themselves all throughout the galaxy, colonizing the planets and allowing them to develop over time. Space travel had become a common method of transport, and the Milky Way Galaxy acted as humanity's beacon to the rest of the Universe.

Story

The series revolves around the crew of the "Leviathan X". A motley crew of adventurers and bounty hunters who travel the universe doing high-risk jobs for a wide variety of employers, all for a meager living. No job is too dirty for them, whether it happens to be the pursuing of criminals for the price on their heads, or the general solving of strange and bizarre crimes. Unfortunately, they are some of the unluckiest people in the star system.

Rules

  1. You're only allowed to control up to 3 characters at a time. Not that we don't trust you, but it's easier for everyone to moderate both yourself and others if we can assuredly keep track over who controls whom. This won't be true of the first few episodes, in which things will be different to accommodate for the lack of writers.
  2. There will be a universally decided plot and if you're not here and have points to make, then make them when you come back and we will all work to implement them effectively. Most everything we do regarding plot will be by consensus.
  3. If you sincerely don't know how to do something in the syntax code that we use and you want to, ask everyone on the talk page. Someone has to be able to, right? Right?
  4. Don't play the characters you don't own unless given permission.
  5. No godmodding, unless you kill yourself or something.
  6. If you join up, but don't contribute for a long while, then we have full authority to write your character out of the plot. If by any chance you come back after this period, you are free to rejoin the series.
  7. You are allowed to temporarily control each others characters for the sake of dialogue only. The owner of the characters affected by this however, is fully authorized to make changes to the dialogue as they see fit. This is here to fasten the pace and to also avoid awkward situations where it's only two characters talking for 30 or so lines.

Special Episodes

For when either it's a minisode, or we're just writing for shits and giggles.

  1. Unaired Pilot: Know When to Fold 'Em - When a bounty is placed on a small-time criminal who managed to rob a casino of all its profits, the crew set out to capture him and claim their reward.
