STUNTS! Wiki User Tracks
Contents
LEGAL THINGS
First and foremost--STUNTS, 4D Driving, and DOSBox are all completely legal. STUNTS and 4D Driving fall under a software category known as abandonware--meaning that since the parent company is either defunct or dissolved, the software now has no license and it is now free to download. I'm saying this to avoid any whining from the part of the Wiki Users. This is meant to be fun, not a hot-blooded legal firestorm.
Enjoy!
WHAT IS THIS?
This, MAH BOI, is Wiki User Tracks for a game called STUNTS! STUNTS is a game where you, in your KICKIN RAD RACECAR, drive across a track littered with loop-de-loops, corkscrews, and ramps. You will crash. That is a given. But hey! You'll have fun downloading and making your own tracks to drive on and subsequently fail! I know I have!
HOW I DO THIS?
First thing's first--download STUNTS. To do that, you can go to the official STUNTS fansite--that's probably the easiest way of obtaining STUNTS. Be sure to download STUNTS 1.1. Now, you can use either DOSBox to run STUNTS with sound, or just click "stunts_k.exe" in the STUNTS folder to get into the game.
NOTE! It's important to use "stunts_k.exe" instead of "stunts.exe"--the latter has copy protection in it, making it frustrating to use.
Next, you can do one of two things.
Making Tracks
If you want to make tracks in STUNTS, it's fairly simple. First, from the main menu, go to "Tracks". From there, click "Create a New Track". Once there, use the mouse to place parts. Press Shift+F1 to edit terrain. After finishing your track, test drive it. If you like it, save it up and put it up for download!
Downloading Tracks
Downloading tracks is simple. Just take the track data and put it in the same folder as STUNTS once it downloads. Then, access it from the tracks menu and set it as your active track. Think you're good enough?
Then get goin!
