Facing the Past/Chapter 1

Summary

Tommyspud gets some information from a former boss, and begins his journey.

Transcript

{Cut to a desk, a blonde man wearing a suit, brushes his hair back with his fingers, as he looks across the room at Tommyspud.}

TOMMYSPUD: Come on, Jeff, you have to tell me about what happened. You know what the Auditace Corporation has done. I, as a former employee, deserve to know.

JEFF: {slowly stands up} Heh, you always want to get straight to the point whenever it involves them, Tommyspud.

{Tommyspud slowly crosses his arms}

TOMMYSPUD: Jeff, I need to know NOW.

{Jeff smirks as he turns around, walking up to Tommyspud}

JEFF: Fine, I'll tell you everything I know. They suddenly reappeared at a town a hundred miles southeast.

TOMMYSPUD: You mean...

JEFF: Yes, Pidias. That town that has that weird energy overflowing from it, that won't let anybody teleport within 25 miles of it.

TOMMYSPUD: You have to give me more info.

JEFF: A lot of corporation leaders have been disappearing, most of them being heads of the rival companies of Auditace Co.

TOMMYSPUD: And, what's at the scene?

JEFF: The calling card of the Red Hawks.

{Tommyspud has a shocked look on his face as he quickly shakes his head.}

TOMMYSPUD: You got to be kidding me, he wouldn't... Not after what happened at their HQ.

JEFF: He is. We have a video, if you want to see it.

{A TV slowly comes down from the ceiling, the screen flashes on, revealing a video from one of those disappearances. A Red Hawk Member is standing, his long black hair running down his back, red eyes look at the camera, as he smirks.}

RED HAWK MEMBER: Tommy, I know you are out there. So, I'm taking this time to tell you, that the master wants us to take you out, my... {Feed gets cut off as the TV goes back up}

{Cut to Tommyspud's face}

TOMMYSPUD: GET THAT FEED BACK! DO IT NOW!

JEFF: That's all that's on the tape, Tommy.

TOMMYSPUD: {punches fist through desk} DANG IT, JEFF! {pulls fist out, and takes a deep breath.} Whatever, Jeff. I guess I've got some traveling to do... To where they appeared. {Walks towards door, and creaks it open}

JEFF: Be careful, would ya?

{Tommyspud nods as he slowly closes the door. He then walks to his house, and begins packing stuff for the trip.}

TOMMYSPUD: Wait.. Why am I packing? I don't need anything...

{He throws the empty briefcase into a garbage can. Stooping down, he grabs the flare blades, and walks out of his house, then disappears in a moment. Cut to a plains, where Tommyspud reappears. He begins to scan his surroundings.}

TOMMYSPUD: It's quiet, too quiet.

{A slight buzz is heard, and Tommyspud quickly dives to the right. An explosion occurs from where he was standing.}

TOMMYSPUD: {Smiling as he gets up} So, Chris, it's already time to be attacking me? {An Arrow flies right at him, however, he catches it, and tosses it off to the side. An explosion occurs from the arrow.} LET'S GO THEN!

{Tommyspud then quickly runs towards the arrows, ducking and dodging all of them, a white haired man comes into view, about the same age as Tommyspud. Chris smirks as he grips his crossbows harder.}

CHRIS: I might be the 4th member, but I'm a lot tougher then I was back then. Don't underestimate me. {he phases into the ground}

TOMMYSPUD: Crap! {Winds to a halt} Where is he? He could pop out anywhere now... Good thing there are no trees here.
