Ah, Sonic The Hedgehog. My most favorite game character and possibly one of the most recgonized video game characters of all time. His video games were great, but his current games are... meh. But Sonic Unleashed is coming out soon, and by what I've seen, this may bring Sonic back to life. Anyway, Its time to get to the main topic. A while ago I wondered "Hey... there should be a sonic movie!" Then another day while wandering wikipedia I found that there was in fact a Sonic The Hedgehog Movie. I really didn't wanna buy it so... GO GO GADGET YOUTUBE!

The Sonic Movie is an hour long piece of crap. A lot of people like this, but I don't. I'm mainly going to explain why I think this movie is awful. But I'll get to that later. Anyway, heres the plot. Sonic and Tails get a message from some stupid owl guy that the mayor is under attack by Robotnik. And yes, Robotnik. Not Eggman. I prefer Robotnik. Eggman is just plain stupid. I have no idea why Sega renamed him that. Anyway, I'm drifting away from the topic. So, Tails flies them to the mayor. What is this guy the mayor of anyway? Mobius? I highly doubt that cause Mobius is a planet.

So Sonic and Tails make it to the Mayor's office. Robotnik reveals that he lured Sonic there by invading the mayor's office and holding him and his very annoying daugher Sarah captive. Robotnik tells Sonic that he wants him to defeat one of his creations gone mad, Metal Robotnik. Sonic accepts the challenge and him and Tails rush to Robotroplis to stop Metal Robotnik. Metal Robotnik almost kills the duo but Knuckles comes out of nowhere wearing a hat for some reason and he helps Sonic and Tails defeat The robot menace.

So then, I get a little confused. So, I think it turns out to be a trap and Robuttnik sends Metal Sonic to destroy the three. Then, Robotnik tries to force Sarah to marry him. ...Wait, WHAT!? MARRY HIM!?!? Okay, pedophile much!? So anyway, Sonic and Metal Sonic have a slightly epic battle and Sonic gets his ass handed to him. But he eventually destroys Metal Sonic, but tries to... save... him? Okay, thats confusing. Then Sonic feels all bad that he destroyed him. ...WHY!? He destroys robots all the time, but this time he feels bad!? WHAT!?

Okay, now to explain the reasons I hate it so.

First of all... its anime. I'm sorry, But I really hate anime. The only exceptions I'll make is Naruto, One Piece, Hoshi No Kabii (The subtitled version. Oh, and like Bell, I refuse to say it's stupid 4Kids name) and Shin Chan. Other then that, I despise anime. Second is the character, Princess Sarah. She's as annoying as all hell. She's almost as annoying as Princess Elise! Wait... I just thought up a theory.... maybe..... Sarah is related to Elise! Seriously, its a possibillity!

Third is the voice acting. ...Do I really need to explain why this horrible!? I mean seriously! Sonic sounds british (No offense to british people), Tails sounds like he has a cold and Knuckles... just sounds wrong!

Fourth is as I said before. Gets confusing after a while. Gets really confusing. REALLY confusing. Fifth is just the fact that Robotnik wants Sarah to marry him. Seriously, how disturbing is that!?!? I'll answer that. VERY.

The only thing I like is that the beggining, Sonic is doing what he does best. Ruunning and jumping, and saving people. Now thats the Sonic I know.

Anyway, to sum it all up. It sucks.

I'm the nostalgia critic, I remember it so you don't have to. ...Wait......... that didn't sound right. Aw well.
