Two German-American ex-magicians and lion handlers, Siegfried and Roy are platonic life partners who are currently heading to New York to get a new lion. Journeying with them is actor and miscreant Danny DeVito, whose antics often get on the nerves of the neurotic Roy, leading the calm Siegfried to need to get involved and smooth things over.
