Nicholai Lunaris is a total badass. And also probably not human.
Nicholai claims to be a human from Russia, but the rest of Vanatori all agree that, somehow, he's not human.
Nicholai is extremely fast, able to move feet in the blink of an eye, is incredibly strong, can wield some sort of dark energy, and has mild healing abilities, both for himself and others.
He wields a rapier in combat, which has a notch for each kill, and also strange letters on the hilt from some foreign language.
