History

Edwin J. Rosenberg was born on 1912 in Nevada to a wealthy oil baron. He inherited the company at a young age due to the untimely and mysteriously gruesome death of his father. After graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1933, he took his wealth to Listless, America, where he settled down into a small mining town. Rosenberg took control of this town not long after, using his wealth and influence to rig the elections, allowing him to expand on it as he pleased.

Over a period of 20 years, he had transformed the small mining town into a small, yet booming city. Using the city of Las Vegas as his main influence, he founded a chain of casinos which increased his wealth even further. By then, he had a complete grasp on the city, using propaganda and vices to make himself favourable in the eyes of the public.

He had become somewhat of a celebrity, mostly due to his eccentric behaviour. During his later years, he became a recluse, rarely ever being seen in public, yet still ruling the city (Which had pretty much became a dictatorship of sorts) behind closed doors. It was speculated that the man had a variety of mental disorders, such as agoraphobia and hypochondria, which caused this kind of behaviour. But as the years went by, people started hearing less about him, and speculated more, until he eventually disappeared from the public eye altogether. By this time in 1984, it was assumed that he had just passed away.

The truth is, like Debonair D'Arque, who had preserved himself by employing the use of the supernatural, Mr. Rosenberg had prevented his death through the use of technology, having his brain removed from his body and hooked up to a super computer, where he runs both the city and his company behind the scenes.

He has a long period of history with Debonair and his family, with the two encountering each other many times while alive. Both men have an equal amount of animosity to each other, considering themselves to be the superior mind. As a result, they've been running a campaign of hatred against each other, trying to destroy each other simply so they can prove that they are superior.

Basic Info

Rosenberg is nothing short of a genius, having built his technological empire from scratch. While he was "alive", he was an incredibly skilled inventor, with his patented software and robotic designs proving to be a cornerstone of American Industry. He keeps a cool attitude most of the time, even in the most dire of situations. He's a no-nonsense kind of man who comes off as rather cold and cynical.

Physically, he happens to be a human brain in a jar. The supercomputer he's connected to allows him to transmit signals from a long range, allowing him to telepathically communicate with anyone within range. He is also able to take control of robots in the range as well, if the need arises.
