The '''Mongrels''' are a species of small, furry creatures that inhabit(ed) the Vega star system. Coming in colors of red, blue, yellow and green, the Mongrels are peaceful creatures, willing to make friends, rather than fight off intruders. This may have lead to their downfall--as of now, over half the Mongrels inhabiting the Vega star system are dead, and the rest have sought help on other, peaceful planets. Based on both word of mouth storytelling from the Mongrels themselves as well as archaeological data gathered from Vega Prime, there is evidence that the Mongrel as we know it is part of an offshoot or a recent adaptation of a different alien lifeform from the planet, which is known for particularly monstrous animals, though no immediate evidence compared to the habits and culture of the Mongrels can confirm this.

Ah, the Mongrels. Fascinating little guys, quite adorable as well. It is said that they used to inhabit the Vega star system, having came in colors of red, blue, yellow, and green, and were quite peaceful and friendly, rather nonviolent, but, alas.
