Welp.

I promised myself I wouldn't mention Raiku in this, but really, there are some parts in which I just have too.

Step 1

COMEDY

Some people can be forgiven for thinking this entirely optional: but I'd like to tell you of one of the most popular fanstuffs on the site (though personally I don't read it, but m'okay): This one. Why? Because it tries to have a sense of humour about itself, even in the frustratingly dark scenes. Learn from this, show!

Step 2

ACTUALLY GOOD WRITING

This is where my lack-of-Raiku mentioning falls off a cliff and into the channel: he can be acquaited to Gears of War to the brilliance of it. Honestly, making you characters have actual fudgin' depth is rather important to. (see just about everyone else on the wiki for info). To learn how to do things right, read 1984, or The Tweenies or something.
