Özgürlük is a large region in the east. A sprawling kingdom ruled under one Sultan, Özgürlük is a haven for commerce and trade. With a history of imperialism in the past, Özgürlük's relations with its close neighbours is less than satisfactory. But on the international level, Özgürlük is respected for its fair trades. Its culture and religion are like that of the great historical Islamic empire, The Ottoman Empire. Originally a small kingdom in the east, Özgürlük gained prominence through a highly successful military campaign lasting nearly fifty years, in which they managed to seize the Turquoise Peninsula from the formerly prosperous Korydallos Empire. Despite focusing most of their resources on land, Özgürlük's overseas operations are managed mainly by the Kirmizi Corsairs, a faction technically independent from the Özgürlük government, but funded by them and loyal to them nonetheless, known for organizing several series of raids on civilizations across the globe, usually kidnapping women and children to either be sold into slavery, or conscripted into their elite military corps.
