Money is a major part of this game. Everyone starts the game off with $500. To make money, you have to gather expensive materials (gems, precious metals, etc...) by doing activities such as mining and metal detecting. Each thing you dig up is worth a specific amount of money, and it can be traded in at the exchange counter. How much money you have is kept track of in your info page.<br />

Another important part of the game is your equipment. Every player starts off with a lantern and a pickaxe. as you gather money you can buy more and better equipment from the shop. Certain non-precious metals can also be made into basic equipment at the craft spot.<br />
