In order to keep the plot liniar, I think you should know what my story is withing NGCMH so that you can ajust it if neccisary. SPOILER: Strong Sader come into contact with the hat seconds before the first flashback. He was freaked because a jolt from the hat had struck him while wearing it. The jolt furnished Strong Sader with an infinite suppy of Life, and the cost of becoming suseptable to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murphy's_Law Murphy's Law].
