His civilian name was Zed Hooper.

After the Vampire campaign that produced Hakamichi Kurloz, I attempted to partake in another campaign with the same Storyteller. At the time, we had to use Roll20 because some of the people from the Vampire campaign graduated and moved away from the college campus I was residing in. Internet was incredibly screwy, but we agreed on Mutants & Masterminds for setting.

I created Count Arkos Montecristo for other things a long time ago, but reforged him for Mutants & Masterminds. He was a Math professor with ties to the mob and he formerly had a lot of pet birds - all named after Sesame Street chararcters - before they were shot up by a Russian gang known as The Black Skulls and the surviving birds given to a home to be safe from the aftereffects of vigilantism. Count Arkos was also a hacker of sorts, and kept trying to fight people who harmed meta-humans (PC term for "mutants a la X-Men") through sabotage and freeing meta-humans imprisoned by a neofascist government. He wore a telltale owl masque, which was upgraded to a metal one upon fighting a villain who specialized in machinery, and had a gun-cane that fired harpoons.

Because of scheduling issues, he ended up not getting a whole lot of character growth going for him. Eventually, the Storyteller's internet got so bad that all games done online through Roll20 were put on indefinite hiatus.
